Stephanie: I’m Grateful

Stephanie: I’m Grateful

At the end of the day everyone loves their community but there are many things that have to be changed. I hope that one day everyone has the resources they need near them no matter the neighborhood they live in. I love my neighborhood and I hope to live here my whole life as long as my family can afford it. My experience has been great and I now admire The Promise Zone so much more.

Sometimes I do see people go to the store but they don’t seem to buy much and they don’t buy stuff like a parachute or a gas mask. I’m pretty sure however people do buy things such as a gas mask or a parachute just to be prepared for anything. I personally think this store is the store to go to buy your important emergency needs. The neighborhood around this store is okay most of the time but also crowded to the point that car crashes happen often.

I always look around and think “wow this place is so ugly, and there is so much to fix.” I dwell on all the bad, and fail to acknowledge the good. This dog Silly is homeless, and all along with it’s owner were really happy with how little they had, and found comfort and a feeling of home here in Hollywood.
